So what did happen to the Coup? Well here’s some of the photos anyway.  The story in summary is that The Coup was “stolen” from the Mount Wolsey hotel where the last night of the 2002 Coup was being held. After much effort, Mike Byrne tracked an identical replacement down. This was shipped from Jarnac to Dublin and was broken on the way. So the night before they left for Evreux, Mike and his wife spent some hours attepting to glue in back together. Well that’s the story.
