Chester 2021

Due to Covid we stayed (and played) at the Macdonald Portal hotel in Chester in the UK with its Championship and Premier courses. Gerry Canavan, Mike Byrne, Enda Burns and Damien Group retained the coup for Ireland, with Mark Linzey, Steve Tringham and Malcolm Mitchell playing for the UK.

2007 Bude

Malcolm Mitchell took on the challenge of organising the Coup in Cornwall – and picked The Camelot Hotel in North Cornwall. Three different courses and the best was definately the last – Bude & North Cornwall – plenty of beer and wine and good food in the Camelot.

2005 Sandwich

The first time the Coup had been played in England! The Fleur-de-Lys – a pub hotel in Sandwich was the base. Pubs all round us and the Coup played on the North Foreland links course. The pub was incredibly friendly and everyone seemed set for a return there in 2007.
