Mike Byrne organised the first of two visits to “the Sunny South East” of Ireland. Gerry Mark and I drove to Wexford to see the town and for Mark to see if he could find any of his Irish relatives.
The course planned for day 1 wasn’t playable, so we played the fabulous Seafield instead. The clubhouse was a portacabin in the car park but the golf course was great, despite the rain. http://www.seafieldhotel.com/cmsGalleriesImages/golf-gal5.jpg
Most of us met at Dublin Airport and the Irish hosts drove down to the south west stopping at at least one excellent pub.

The final day we moved up to the Mount Wolsey where the Coup would be played and then stay at the Hotel there. The Irish duly won and celebrated in traditional style by drinking (Irish Whiskey?) out of the Coup. So what did happen to The Coup after that?
