Alicante was one of the most memorable Coup’s for me.
Arranged by Gerry and his great friend Mick Edwards who lived in Spain, it was only a few months after my heart attack. Everyone was fantastic and the company, food and sun made for a wonderful trip. The meal on the first night (I think) in a small “local” Spanish restaurant, Tapas eaten in the small square after golf all made it.
Mick arranged most of the details of the Coup, including that first mealĀ acting as chauffeur and guide for much of the time, sadly he died the following year and so was “unavailable” for later Coups.
Sean spending the night in the gutter and golf played down fairways between tiers of apartments were all very memorable.
Again I have a lack of photos but I’m sure there were some online albums knocking around?
